All sessions at this time are offered via telehealth — no in person availability.
Due to the limited nature of telehealth services I am not currently able to accept clients with active psychosis/psychotic episodes, hallucinations, manic episodes, significant substance use/drug or alcohol related concerns, severe depression that significantly impacts daily functioning/ability to care for self, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation or significant self-harm concerns. Star Lily Counseling is not a crisis line/service and should not be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate support contact your local crisis line or the National 988 Lifeline.
Individual Therapy Session (50-minute) — $175
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and reconnect with yourself. In a 50-minute session we will collaboratively work together using evidenced-based and person centered approaches to work toward greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, meaningful change, and a life that feels more authentically yours.
Individual Therapy Session (30-minute) — $90
When is a 30-minute session right for you? If you’re looking for a brief check-in between longer sessions in support of goals or for accountability, need targeted support with skill building or habit tracking, or when you struggle with attention and focus for longer periods of time. 30-minute sessions are not a good fit for emotional processing or trauma work. Initial sessions need to be scheduled as a 50-minute session at which time shorter session times can be discussed if desired.
Concerned about the cost of therapy?
Therapy can be expensive and not everyone has the resources to afford out of pocket costs. Many health insurance plans offer reimbursements for out-of-network therapists for which I am able to provide a superbill. For more information on reimbursement contact your health insurance provider as different plans reimburse at different rates. Additionally, I am currently accepting clients with a number of insurance plans through both Headway and Rula.
If you are planning to pay out-of-pocket and still concerned about cost, please inquire about sliding-scale options, I am happy to discuss this further with you.
Good Faith Estimate
By law clients paying for therapy out of pocket have a right to a good faith estimate of expected costs for their therapy services. This law was created to protect people from unexpected medical bills. You have a right to a good faith estimate in writing before scheduling or upon request. When we schedule a session you will receive a good faith estimate for the cost of your sessions based on the rate we discuss. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you have a right to dispute it.
